Who we are
Volyx is a hosting platform launched by Elijah in 2018, following a project concept developed in 2016. The project is based in the United Kingdom.
Throughout these terms, Volyx refers to the platform and its operator. For general inquiries, contact contact@volyx.xyz. For privacy-related inquiries, contact privacy@volyx.xyz.
The service is designed to make hosting tools and technical resources accessible to developers and online communities.
What we provide
Volyx provides supported application hosting environments, server management tools, documentation, and related developer services.
Available runtime versions, storage, memory, network allocations, and other capabilities may differ by server configuration. The dashboard provides the current available options.
Our public hosting guides are educational resources. An article about a particular technology does not necessarily mean that every configuration described is offered as an automated Volyx hosting product.
Hosting accounts may also have access to supported database or networking features. Availability is subject to the platform's operational capabilities.
Paid plans
Volyx currently focuses on free hosting and does not offer conventional paid hosting subscriptions.
The platform uses a Coins-based resource system. Coins may be earned or redeemed through features made available in the dashboard, and their use is subject to the rules displayed there.
Coins are platform units rather than money or a bank balance. They should not be treated as having a guaranteed cash value or withdrawal entitlement.
If Volyx introduces paid hosting products in the future, their prices, renewal conditions, and any applicable cancellation rights will need to be published separately before those products are offered.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Volyx, or meet a higher minimum age where required by the laws applicable to you. Users under the age of legal majority must also obtain parental or guardian permission where required.
You must be legally permitted to use the service in your location and comply with laws and applicable third-party platform requirements.
If you are under the age at which you can independently agree to these terms, you should use the service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.
Accounts previously restricted for serious misuse may be denied further access. Creating additional accounts to evade enforcement is not permitted.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, login credentials, API keys, linked identities, and server access permissions.
Use accurate account information where requested. Do not impersonate other people, access accounts without authorization, or use multiple accounts to evade resource restrictions.
If you suspect unauthorized access, change affected credentials and notify Volyx using the appropriate contact channel.
You are responsible for actions performed through your account, subject to applicable law and any rights you may have.
Your code and your data
You retain ownership of your original source code, application content, and other materials to which you hold legal rights.
You are responsible for ensuring that your applications, uploaded files, dependencies, and stored data comply with applicable law and the rights of others.
You should maintain independent backups of important projects and databases. A hosting environment is not a substitute for a tested backup and recovery process.
Do not upload credentials or private information that you are not authorized to process. If your application collects personal data from its users, you are responsible for meeting any obligations applicable to that processing.
Volyx may need to process or store technical information to provide the requested hosting functions. The applicable privacy practices must be described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use of Volyx is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of the service rules.
The platform must not be used to distribute malware, conduct unauthorized attacks, steal credentials, send abusive spam, or intentionally disrupt other systems.
You must respect the service's resource allocations and the rules of any third-party applications or communities with which your software interacts.

Availability
Volyx aims to provide a reliable hosting experience, but services may be interrupted by maintenance, hardware failures, software faults, network incidents, capacity limitations, or external dependencies.
Unless expressly stated in a separate applicable agreement, the service does not provide a contractual guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
Users should design critical applications with appropriate monitoring, recovery procedures, and backups.
Suspension and termination
Volyx may restrict access to accounts or servers when necessary to address suspected misuse, security risks, resource abuse, legal requirements, or violations of applicable service rules.
Hosting resources may also become suspended or expire according to the resource allocation and renewal conditions displayed in the dashboard.
Where reasonably possible, users may receive information about restrictions or opportunities to resolve issues. Immediate action may be necessary where there is a serious security or abuse concern.
Data associated with restricted or expired hosting may eventually become unavailable. You should maintain independent copies of important information.
Users may contact Volyx to ask questions or dispute an enforcement action.
The platforms your project connects to
Applications hosted by Volyx may connect to services such as Discord, Minecraft servers, Telegram, Twitch, or other external providers.
Those services are operated independently. Their own policies, authentication requirements, API limits, and enforcement decisions apply separately.
Volyx does not control third-party suspensions, account bans, API changes, or service outages, and does not guarantee that any particular integration will remain available.
You must obtain the permissions necessary for any automation or data access performed by your application.
No warranty
The hosting service and public technical materials are provided on an as-available basis, subject to any warranties or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
We do not promise that every example, dependency, external service, or deployment configuration will operate without errors.
You should test configuration changes and commands in an appropriate environment before using them for important workloads.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any consumer or statutory rights that cannot be waived.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Volyx is not responsible for losses caused solely by external platform failures, user-controlled applications, or credentials exposed through user actions.
Users remain responsible for their own source code, lawful data handling, application security, and appropriate backups.
The limitations of liability described in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not override mandatory legal protections.
Changes
Volyx may revise these terms to reflect updates to its services, platform rules, security requirements, or applicable legal obligations.
When changes materially affect the service, we aim to communicate them through appropriate channels, such as the website or dashboard.
The date shown at the top of this page identifies the latest published revision of these Terms of Service.
Governing law
Disputes involving Volyx are subject to applicable laws and jurisdictional requirements. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
Nothing in these Terms removes legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
