Use Deployments for workflows where code is prepared, built, and released to the server.

Deployment flow

A deployment usually has a source, preparation/build step, and a final running result. Review each stage when a deployment fails.

Deployment logs are the best place to inspect failed install, build, or startup steps.

Check the runtime version, dependency lock files, environment values, and build command when the deployment stops before launch.

Keep backups or a known-good previous version before large production changes.

Tip

Treat deployment output as part of troubleshooting history. Save useful errors before retrying.
